Founded in 1927, our approach to helping horses was based on four core principles, which we still hold today.

Together we make a great team! See how your donations are helping horses in the UK and around the world.

For every pound donated 80p goes directly to our work in helping horses. The rest is invested in fundraising to ensure our work continues for the next generation.

Our 2024 Conference was held on Thursday 7th November in-person in London and online.

Our founder, Ada Cole, continues to be a source of inspiration for everyone at World Horse Welfare.

We have been improving the lives of horses in the UK and around the world since 1927.

Over 30% of our team have worked for the charity for more than 10 years and many choose to donate to our work.

You are the lifeblood of our charity. Without your support we could not help the number of horses we do every year.
