We inform and influence European policy to better protect equine welfare.

Since we were founded in 1927 we have influenced more than 50 pieces of legislation, helping to bring about better welfare provision for horses.

We work to improve welfare across the full spectrum of the equine world, including the welfare of horses involved in sport and leisure.

We improve the lives of working horses whose communities rely on for their livelihoods.

We believe in using scientific evidence to help guide our work. Finding the root causes of welfare problems allows us to help horses by getting to the heart of an issue.

We help working horses who sustain livelihoods, and those used for food.
