Cutting costs not care
with Lucy Grieve, Ruth Court and Rachel Andrews
We welcomed veterinarian Lucy Grieve, Blue Cross Horse Welfare Manager Ruth Court, and World Horse Welfare Field Officer Rachel Andrews to chat to us about how we can look to reduce costs whilst still maintaining high standards of care for our horses.
We are all very aware of how expensive horses are to keep and we, as owners, often feel that the costs associated with their care spiral constantly upwards – more so than ever with the increasing costs of feed, bedding, and services we are currently experiencing.
Lucy, Ruth and Rachel, who are all very aware of the impact that the Cost of Living Crisis is currently having on all horse owners and keepers, will guide us through areas where we can look to save money as well as highlighting where scrimping could impact the health and welfare of our horses. As always, the team answers questions from the live audience at the end of the webinar.
