Meet Amica

Amica is a lovely, affectionate little pony who will follow you around like a dog. Amica loves cuddles and human attention and she is always happy to see you. She is proving to be an intelligent pony who is very bright and a quick learner. Sometimes she can be a little too bright so it is important she is given the right guidance at this early stage to avoid picking up any bad habits that will be more difficult to correct in the future. Amica usually finds herself at the lower end of the pecking order and would not be happy left alone as she tends to rely on others for security. Amia will never be suitable to ride but she has such a beautiful temperament she can still provide a valuable role as a non-ridden companion to others. Ideally we are looking for a rehomer with past experience of foals and green ponies who can provide Amica with the necessary guidance and education. Amica's mother is 12.3hh and she is expected to reach a similar height when fully mature.

Important stuff

Amica can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Amica is not suitable to be worked.

History

Amica was born at Hall Farm in May 2023 after her pregnant mother came in as part of a prosecution case.
