Meet Bryn
Bryn is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He came into Penny Farm completely unhandled and it has taken him a long time to build confidence and trust in his handler. Bryn will be best suited to a private yard with a few ponies where he will be around and handled by adults only. He thrives in a one to one setting and would be a great project for someone wanting to build up his confidence even more. Bryn can be little shy when you first approach him so has his headcollar left on in the field. He will, however, come for a treat and he especially loves carrots. He is good to handle, groom and for the vet and the farrier as long as he is approached quietly and calmly. Bryn was gelded late so can only be turned out with geldings. He gets on very well with others and is currently living out but will happily come into a stable to be groomed. He needs his weight watching so would be best suited to living with equines of similar needs. Bryn will stay on his own in a stable while another pony is taken out, but this will need to be introduced gradually in a new home. If you can offer Bryn a home, please apply online.
Important stuff
Bryn can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Bryn is not suitable to be worked.
History
Bryn came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case of unhandled ponies.
