Meet Amber
Horse rehomed
Amber is an eye catching, pretty little pony with a sweet nature. She is generally good to handle although she is still quite young, and her curiosity will sometimes get her into trouble in new situations. For example, the first time she was brought into the American barn for a groom she thought it would be a good idea to put her foot in the water trough used for cleaning the yard and splash the water around! Amber enjoys human contact and stands happily to be groomed and generally pampered. She is a perfect little pony when settled in a regular routine and knows what is expected of her. She is a friendly pony with others in the field although she seems to prefer smaller groups and tends to keep herself to herself in a larger herd. Amber has buddied up with another mare who other horses can be wary of, although this mare happily accepts Amber showing the type of pony Amber is. Amber could be backed as a lead rein pony for a small child only if the rehomer wanted to do that. She would have a maximum rider limit of 4.5 to 5 stones. She could also make an eye catching little driving pony. Amber has had laminitis in the past and although this has been controlled at Hall Farm it is vital she is kept on restricted grazing and her weight carefully monitored to avoid any further attacks.
Important stuff
Amber could be worked in the future.
