Meet Iskra
Iskra is a beautiful little filly who is ready to go off to a new home for youngster handling. Iskra is a delight to spend time with as she has the loveliest nature although she can come across as a little shy to begin with. She adores attention from her groom and loves being brought in for a pamper. Due to her age, she will need someone experienced with youngsters to bring her on as she can become strong to lead if stressed or in a new situation. Iskra is estimated to mature at around 13HH and may be suitable to be backed to ride in the future; she will need assessed by a vet at four years old to see if she can begin groundwork. If she is backed to ride, she will be able to carry a maximum of 15% of her correct bodyweight so would be best suited to a child rider. Iskra is well mannered for the vet and farrier but does take a lot of confidence from her handler in these situations. She adores being pampered although she doesn’t like being left tied up as she wouldn’t want to miss out on any attention. Although she is young, she knows her own mind and is quite the wee character. Iskra gets on well with her field mates and has been lucky enough to have another foal to grow up with and have endless playtime with. She would adore another young pony to get up to mischief with and would happily live in a mixed herd. Iskra is very young and would not be suitable to be left alone; she doesn’t need her grazing overly restricted as she is still growing but will need the option of it being restricted in the future due to her type. If you think that bonny wee Iskra sounds right for you, please apply online.
