Meet Honours Degree (Hector)

Hector is now ready to rehome as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding being worked. He is a gentle giant, but can be a little bit of a worrier at times. He is better suited to a rehomer who has experience with bigger horses, as Hector can become strong when in situations he is unsure about. He is good to catch, lead and groom, and for the vet and farrier with a calm approach. He is currently living out with shelter in a mixed group, but will stable as part of a routine. He doesn't like being left on his own, so it is important he has a friend with him at all times. Hector would be better suited to a quiet, smaller yard where there won't be a lot of movement as this is when he tends to become worried. He does have a couple of sarcoids which haven't changed since being with us and don't cause him any problems. If you can offer Hector a home, please apply online.
